Objectives of the Project:
●
Enhanced Education
Access and Quality (6-14 years): Aims to improve learning levels and academic performance for 1500
children through 40 Village Learning Centers, enroll the out-of-school
children, increase enrollment and attendance, ensure maximum retention, and
support documentation for children to enroll.
●
Strengthened Early
Childhood Education (3-5 years): Focuses on improving infrastructure and resources in 15 Anganwadi
Centers (AWCs), enhancing the capacity of 34 Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) through
training and providing Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) to all 60 AWCs to
improve school readiness, engagement, and learning outcomes for children.

Community and
Stakeholder Engagement: Includes participatory mapping to generate block-level reports,
conducting baseline and endline learning assessments for children, facilitating
parent-teacher interactions and PTA meetings (150 each), training SMC members,
and holding SMC meetings.
●
Child Participation and
Support: Support
children parliament in schools with 550 active participants, provides
play/sports materials to 27 schools, and aims for 50% of enrolled children to
achieve grade-appropriate learning outcomes.
Major activities :

Expand Village Learning
Centers (VLCs):
Establish 40 VLCs for supporting 1000 children in their learning level.
●
Learning Level
Assessment and Planning: Conduct LLA assessments and identify the gaps of learning and
developing the learning plan for VLC.
●
Training and
Child-Centered Learning: Provide intensive training to 40 Vidya Sathis on child-centered
teaching, TaRL methods, and individualized learning plans based on baseline
assessments of 1500 children.
●
Promote Reading
Culture: Establish
community libraries in villages.
●
Improve Anganwadi
Center (AWC) Infrastructure and Capacity: Assess 34 AWCs, train 34 Anganwadi Workers
(AWWs) on pre-education and activity-based learning, and provide TLM to 20
AWCs.
●
Enhance Early Childhood
Education Quality:
Support joyful learning activities in all 34 AWCs, track children's progress,
and advocate for accessibility.
●
Focus on School
Readiness: Conduct
school readiness assessments for 4-5 year olds in 40 AWCs and provide TLM
support.
●
Enrollment and
Retention of Out-of-School Children: Conduct participatory mapping, enrollment campaigns, provide direct
support for documentation, address barriers to access, and conduct learning
assessments.
●
Community Engagement
and School Management: Conduct parent-teacher meetings, support PTA meetings in 40 schools,
provide play materials, train SMC members in 40 villages, and support 40
children's parliaments in schools.
