Objectives of the Project:

     ​​Support children in enhancing learning level through remedial centres

     Women economic & social empowerment achieved and alternate livelihood opportunities available to youth members.

     Strengthened child protection institutions and child participation eradicates child labour and other violence against children.

     Support Government health systems addressing women and children’s health.

     Facilitate DMFT services to the most affected population in the area.

 

Major activities :

     Child Friendly Centres (15 centres) within the school premises to promote learning, interest in education and development of children.

     Remedial education using child friendly methodology

     library with 200 books will be set up at the each centre  and reading sessions

     Talent development sessions are conducted for children by organizing activities like drawing, dance, drama, games, singing; painting, craft work, designing etc to promote creative thinking among children

     Summer camps win the month of May for 25 days every year to engage children in meaningful recreational & extra-curricular activities during school holidays for children.

     Annual sports event/ Bal Mela on the final day of the summer camp at the Panchayat level. The sports tournaments enable children to observe World Play Day.

     Training on street theatre along with cultural performing arts like traditional instrumental music and traditional dance forms

     Monthly meetings/ Quarterly meetings of VCPC and SMC support in the  and Quarterly training on “Child Right to Participation and Development” for    VCPC representatives.

     Quarterly trainings for community members at Gram panchayat level on food and nutrition, healthy eating habits, regulations for functioning of PDS, Anganwadi, mid-day meal in schools

     Awareness talks every month, games on healthy eating practices in schools reaching 50 children in schools,

     Community food exhibition / food fair at the Gram Panchayat level.

     Take up pond, river and other natural water resources management, waste segregation, restoration of mining affected land, promote organic farming & traditional crops management, soil conservation and biodiversity conservation activities.

     Skill development training to youths on driving, computer applications, Tailoring etc and link interested youths, women to the Skill India Mission

     Support to Women for entrepreneurship development with which they could start income generation initiatives either independently or in groups .Single women and women headed families that have child workers will be given priority. Livelihood activities like  establishing petty shops, wholesale food grains and groceries, fast food centres, animal husbandry, clothes marketing are supported.

     Facilitating Child Friendly Villages ( as per theme -3 of taken by Government) involving the villagers, children and PRI.
